Why did we start all this?
Since the beginning of the 21st century, fewer and fewer people have been working physically and creating everyday items by hand. Assembly lines have replaced factories and craftsmanship, which have become rare and only accessible to a few. But we’ve taken it upon ourselves to get back to basics, to revive shoe manufacturing in Russia — instead of chasingvolumes of production, we prioritize quality and aesthetics of the product.

What does RAZUMNO mean to us?
When we were just about to launch the brand and hadn’t even started to choose a name for the project, we asked ourselves the following questions:
— That's how we made shoe boxes with handles — making it easy for you to get home carrying your new pair and convenient to store shoes in the off-season.
— Is it reasonable to pack shoe boxes in plastic bags if those bags are to be thrown away when one gets home?
— Is it reasonable to produce a collection of shoes and then think about what to do with the leftovers in stock?
— To avoid overproduction, we decided to follow the made-to-order scheme. If we don’t have your size and color in stock, you can place an order, and you will receive your shoes in 2 weeks. You have our word, time will fly by quickly.
— No. So we made them from sturdy twill, and if you no longer need to store shoes in them, you can use them to store anything you like. We will be more than happy.
— Is it reasonable to sew flimsy dust bags for shoes?
— Is it reasonable to put countless booklets and postcards in the box that will only make a tiny moment of pleasure to customers?
— That's why we send you our love and gratitude on a postcard made of recycled paper with Alyssum and Snapdragon seeds. You can put the postcard in a pot, cover it with soil, water it and grow your own meadow on your windowsill this summer. If you throw the postcard away, your gesture will eventually turn into something beautiful anyway.
