Our story
Established in 2020, RAZUMNO reimagines handcrafted shoes made from luxury-grade materials.

The word "Razumno" came from Proto-Slavic "rozum" and means "consciously". Committed to sustainability, Razumno employs the finest Italian fabrics and genuine leather throughout its minimal-waste production process.
Alena Lozovskaya is the brand’s co-founder. Alena now continues the dynasty of shoemakers and continues to develop the craftsmanship of her parents.

Seven years ago she joined the "Per Nobile" male made-to-order atelier team, where her parents work. Razumno uses the capacities of bespoke workshops; female collections are also now made there.
Philosophy & Approach
RAZUMNO is committed to supporting local female artisans. Currently there are almost 50% women among all the 24 skilled craftspeople in the workshop making collections for Razumno. We consider ourselves global, as a part of a free world in which there is no place for violence.
Diversity
For RAZUMNO,
the key is
simplicity of design,
attention to craft
and perception of shoes for females in general
Razumno works with core models — the "base", brought to perfection in utility.
Callas are called the perfection of one petal — the leaf-veil carefully guards the real inflorescence, hidden inside, fragrant and tender. Quite similar to Razumno shoes made of one single sheet of leather to be tenderly put on the foot.
The patron flower of RAZUMNO is Calla.

On the heel of each RAZUMNO pair, you can see a tiny copper nail hammered inside.
This is the identification mark, like four white stitches showing the hand of Maison Margiela, which carries an additional meaning: "Our pride is a stacked heel made of leather, which consists of layers" - says Alena comparing these layers with the ones in the Honey cake.
