Brand’s logo has the form of a circle and a rectangle, which refers to the aesthetics of the Bauhaus. The brand’s name uses a Viennese font of the 1930s for a reason. "Figuratively, we traveled back in time a hundred years in terms of simplicity of design, attention to craft and perception of shoes in general", says Alena.
Alena named each of the shoe
models after an outstanding woman.
"Sonia Delaunay" — Ukrainian and French abstract painter, Gertrude Elion — American biochemist, "Alexandra Exter" — French and Russian painter and designer, "Maya Plisetskaya" — soviet ballet dancer, etc.
On the heel of each RAZUMNO pair, you can see a tiny copper nail hammered inside.
This is the identification mark, like four white stitches showing the hand of Maison Margiela, which carries an additional meaning: "Our pride is a stacked heel made of leather, which consists of layers" - says Alena comparing these layers with the ones in the Honey cake.
